Is the rear fog light on a 2006 C2S on the driver's side only? Mine is driver's side only, but looking for confirmation. I've seen Audis both ways, left only, and left+right.

I'm hoping to avoid bulb swaps to confirm. Anyone know for certain?

FWIW this was the case too in my ex 996 C2 and M Z3 Coupe (both Euro spec).

It's a Euro thing - always one light on the driver's side. Not two lights since some one would confuse it with brake lights.

Its left only. That is the design for left hand drive cars. The light should be on toward the middle of the road, so if you drive on the right, the light is on the left side of the car.

The single light help following traffic know its not a brake light.

Having rear fogs on both sides is problematic because it can cause that confusion and needlessly create standing waves in traffic, or increase risk as folks will not notice as quickly when you do press the brakes.

I imagine that in right hand drive cars (UK), the rear fog is on the right side.

Wasted trip
Wish I had checked this site prior to running out and buying bulbs. Porsche should get loyalty from bulb manufacturer as I'm sure I was not the only person to do so. No wonder there was no bulb in there...
