Smile Which exhaust system for 2007 911 S

I own a 2007 911 S with OEM exhaust system. I would like know if there is any exhaust system out there with out braking the bank that could give me deep F1 sound and more horse power

Depends on how big your bank is.

A lot of folks with 996s and 997.1s modified their existing side mufflers with what is called a Gundo or Fister D hack. It is basically a welded in bypass between the inlet and outlet pipes for the side mufflers. Search on this forum. Best bang for the buck in terms of sound but no improvement in horsepower though.

+1 on Gundo'd modified muffler. Darren Fister has a core exchange program. Highly recommend this mod! http://fdmotorsports.net/fister-exhaust-997-one

+ 1 Gundo Hack. Sounds very close if not the same as the PSE.

I also have an 07S. I went with the Gundo. Most people seem to go with the two inch cross over pipe but I opted for 1.5 inch. Make sure it is stainless pipe. I think mine is perfect and would never go back to stock. I took the mufflers off and took them to a shop where I was charged $100 for the job. No regrets. Look up Gundo hack and take a picture to your welder. No brainer...do it.

Good idea to remove the muffler yourself, take it the shop and show them the picture. My experience is when I drove my car to the shop, most shops got intimidated when they saw it's a Porsche. Either that or they'll charge you Porsche tax. I must caution you though that you may run into a couple of nuts and bolts which are tough to remove due to heavy corrosion. I ended up breaking a couple myself to get them out. Even after soaking them overnight on WD-40.

GUNDO HACK for 2007 911 S" should I weld a 1.5" or 2" pipe connecting the 2 pipes of the muffler in order to get a deeper "PSE" sound ????

Here's a good one with before and after sound bite.
