The hack is very popular, but if you don't want to do that, we offer some replacement mufflers that will produce a nice sound and a few hp's.

After you decide on a muffler option, go with our cats. Many can attest here that it is those that yield the serious power. The fit is correct, no CEL's, and will help with adding some ear candy.

I have Fisters with 1.75" on my '06 C2S and love them. They're a bit loud on cold start but once warmed up are fantastic. Darin at FD is a great guy. His workmanship is solid and he's really helpful.

Also if by chance you don't like them, I think Fisters would probably be the easiest to resell or trade for stock than anything else out there as lots of guys are in line while he waits for exchange returns.

I'm surprised that no one has asked about how much weight you want to save or power increase you'd like to feel.

There's no doubt that the Gundo and D hack can make your car sound better. It will sound like a PSE because that's what a PSE is. A muffler with a bypass...

Anyways, I would look into an AWE for F1 type sound or Fabspeed if you want to go deeper and lower in tone.

add a fabspeed X-pipe and you'll be more than Satisfied.
i run PSE + X-pipe and it sounds AWESOME!

ZERO drone, and i mean ZERO.
sounds like hell unleashed on WOT.

it Screams, so loud; louder than my old s2000 SCREAMING at 9,000 Rpms with a Full one piece Titanium exhaust.

Oh, and as for Smog.. it is a very easy task putting the X pipe on and off .. you don't even need to remove the mufflers NOR the rear bumper.

I have a 2009 so I added a Sharkwerks Center pipe and used Cargraphic mufflers, I think it sounds great, I just installed it a few weeks ago and a few people already commented on how good it sounds.

I do not think you will get much power out of it. I decided Used was about the same price as a Gundo and I would much rather have the Stock Parts to put back on later. Actually I think used will end up Cheaper because I will more than likely be able to sell them years down the road for around the same price I paid for them if I ever get rid of my car.
