PCM 3.0 Active vs. Current
When I added NavTV Sat Radio to my 2009 C2S they had me press "Source" and "Info" together to make sure it read "current" and not "active. Since it was "current" I was good to go adding NavTV Sat Radio.
What is the difference and how do I make sure that during a service Porsche does not do an update that changes it over to "active." I know I can tell them not to touch it but....
I'm having some issues with my Bluetooth and I think they need to replace the PCM3.0 unit. I'm worried if they do that the new unit will be "active" meaning that my NavTV sat radio won't work.
I'm just trying to get a better understanding of what it all means so that I can make a decision.
Thanks for any input.
