I guess never mind... I just bought the X51 Intake Upgrade Kit from Suncoast!
You can call me impulsive buyer... anyway, that's what I wanted from the beginning, and that's what I'm getting! LOL!

 

What would the performance yield be by adding the X51 intake kit?

More air into the system. I'm moving now towards the performance mods, so Plenum+GT3 throttle body and 200 cell cats is next.

 

I see. Thanks Joel. I researched a little some time ago and I noted the X51 powerkit upgrade was $12K from Porsche - I thought "why", when I could go with TPC's turbo for $10K. If I recall correctly it included heads, exhaust, remapping, etc. I have to say the dual-cone carbon fiber housing is a thing of beauty. Initially I thought you were looking at the actual manifold, throttle body, etc. I was just wondering. I'm still going F/I.

 

I'm hoping they are still developing the intake otherwise I will be forced to go the same route.

how about selling your 997.1 C2S and buying a 997.1 GT3 for less money than all the options you are adding?

 

I don't get close to GT3 pricing as I got my 997 pretty cheap... and, I need the back seats!
