While at the dealer yesterday to have a new set of BMC filters installed, I had new stone guards installed. Decided to go with the speedster black matte for a slight contrast - removed the clear.

You and me both. I was sick of seeing the black outline of dirt on the clear ones. It gets underneath and impossible to clean. Very noticeable on Carrera White.

 

Black guard on white would have been the only option for me too. Nice look!

You changed your stock filters to BMC? Any impressions?

Everything I've read is that there is no gain, but living in a hot climate like Texas I wanted to give her the best opportunity to breathe. There is 19k on the clock so I felt it was best to replace the original filters regardless. Why not put in a filter that allows more air flow?

How did you get the red rim on your wheels? I have a 2011 GTS and like the wheels.

 

Thanks. Sent the wheels to have powder coated (gloss black) and while there had a red stripe installed by the same folks (matched the red calipers).
