Ugly 997.2 s headers

Just had the car lifted and had a see on those ugly!! Headers. Anybody just replaced these parts and had any improving results. Those pipes do not look oem. They look like they were made by some amateur guy ith a hammer. Did you notice those bends and what look like accidental bumps on the pipes. Why did porsche do such a thing?!

May be you drove over something that hit your headers? Post some pics so we can see what you are talking about.

mxp is infamous around these parts
OEM headers are somewhat restrictive, but other than the flat spot on #4 (4th from the rear bumper) which is done by design I don't think they should look like a hack job, post a pic so we can see what you mean ...

You can also replace yours with optional ones from Cargraphic like I have done and you will see some gains

I will try to get another pic of the headers when i get the car up on lifts but i think some of our brthers can chime in on this. I think its a kniwn fact that the s headers look like a hack job even compared to the headers of the regular carrera. Of course im reffering to the 997.2

you have to buy new cats if you want to make it pretty. most all of the headers and cats are stainless so they will shine for a couple weeks. But this is a 2000$ or more upgrade

X-51 headers are an improvement, but only slightly more attractive...
