My DCT wheel did have a slight rubber cement like glue smell when it arrived. But the smell went away quickly. I only smell leather now. No loose threads sticking up either. Seems like sixgun95 got a bad egg, I'd be unhappy too if my wheel arrived like that.

 

I have two steering wheels from DCT Motorsports.
One on my BMW E63 M6 and the other on my Gemballa-VF engineering Porsche
Carrera 4s.
I could not be more pleased. In fact I am absolutely thrilled.
All these about glue smell are unknown issues to me.
Perfect finish.
No smell. Only leather at its finest.
Furthermore, Ivan has been a real pleasure to work with. A true gentleman.

Awesome looking M6 wheel! They even did the M tri-color thread stitching. Cool.

 

After having a competitors wheel now for a few weeks I will offer this - I like the aggressive look, feel and shape of the DCT Motorsport wheel the best. I am always honest with my opinion, so DCT deserves this.
