You will be refunded for the bumper however you have to take it off your car and Vorsteiner will pay to have it picked up. We will credit you back.

Doesn't get more straight forward than this. You bought a part you don't like it fine we will get it picked up and credit you.

Not sure how our customer service sucks. You said per our conversation you would have the bumper removed that was on Sept 6th. This could of been solved a month ago but you have dragged it out and not followed thru with your side to get this closed.

I think a 20% restocking fee is fair considering all the whining and misinformation he's spewed. People are natural born manipulators and the whining is obviously not the complete truth. Never is though when you're trying to gain the support of the masses. Usually a refund when not deserved calls for some sort of gag order. He owes your company a massive apology and huge thanks for bailing him out.

No just someone who knows they don't have to do anything for you, yet they are. Next time you tell a story, tell the whole story.

I think so many people with the bumper issues have jumped into this thread, that when someone responds you have no idea who your talking to! anything i've posted myself has been to the OP

Ok...So here we go...Jam call your credit card company and file a claim...Thats about the only way these guys will do anything...Rob I've already told you what you need to do to correct the situation...I don't really care what others say...I'm not spending another dime on the bumper to pay to get it removed...As far as dragging this on.....If your Customer Rep actually took the time initially and responded back in a timely manner...And the verbage that you used in the conversation...The typical lines......In regards to me having to get the bumper removed and sending it back and than waiting for Vorsteiner to do their so called QC procedure and than making another and sending it to me...Come on if your going to get on a forum tell the whole story...Don't try to make it sound kosher...That's all I have to say....

Tarek and Steve997...You guys are good comedy...

Yeah one more thing...In regards to your excellent customer service rep's...Don't lie to a customer when trying to sell them a perfect oem quality vorsteiner bumper with no fitment issues...Don't use the supposed sticker claim on the box as defense...

Again what's awesome is the main issue still hasn't been addressed...It's only after posting to the forum and calling my credit card that these guys are taking this serious...

I'm glad I made my point on the forum and others such as KEV and JAM996 were able to voice their ordeal with Vorsteiner and Vivid ....Is this really about the money...Nope not really....its about making a statement or a point...

The point that people and companies need to be held accountable for their actions...Especially when making claims about selling a product that the customer is paying a premium for....Again as far as the owner Rob is concerned his conversation with me was the same line...The customer has to be inconvenienced more to take care of the issue and don't mail it back to me because I'll be out the money...That's a good way to sandbag Vorsteiner and way to go on working with them.....That tells me what type of businessman he is... I could careless what certain people on this forum said......I think most who will come across this thread and actually read it will see the basis behind it....

I think Jam996 will get a resolution and probably post on the forum that Vivid took care of him...Cause if Vivid was smart that's what they would do...

We deal with a lot of Vorsteiner. We are 1 of 3 Canadian Distrubutors and never had any issues dealing direct with VRS. We have done 3 VRT Project and not onces we had Fitment issues with it or any other VRS Parts.

As a vendor, I am interested how would you deal with this situation?

Yeah Tarek...It's called going above and beyond...Just like how their Rep dropped the ball and quoted perfect fitment and took weeks to get back to me about the refund...It was only after I contacted him that he told me it would me a few more weeks...As far as Rob goes...I think him posting a Customers name on a public forum and his willingness to ditch Vorsteiner for his own financial gain speaks volumes of what type of businessman he is....

KRYS fly....All I have to say is if I was the Vendor...I wouldn't have stuff like this in yelp...Or putting the name of my business in a "google" search would not come up with this type of feedback....Refer to the links below...

Check out the comment from "TRUMP" about local Porsche Turbo owners and their experience with Vivid in the link below.....Anyone know which club it is…..I can guarantee the Porsche Turbo's don't belong to Tarek (Cheerleader for Vivid) and Steve997S (The wannabe lawyer for Vivid)….Hahaha….

Also something helpful to know is that Vivid isn't Better Business Burea accredited.....

Their Yelp has some good stuff as well...I'll be adding my review in the next few days....The others should as well....

I purchased a Agency Power Exhaust System from Vivid Racing for my 2009 Porsche Boxster S 987 Gen II with DFI. A representative from Vivid Racing stated it fits this specific make and model vehicle.

Turns out it does not, fitment is different for Gen I and Gen II cars. I contacted Agency Power and received confirmation about this from a rep named Matt Jobin, "We have not installed one of these on a 987.2. This is designed to fit the first Gen 987"

I had the exhaust professionally installed and the installer modified the exhaust for fitment (shortened the pipe leading into the resonator) This of course makes my problems with the product more complex. The installer made the fitment without my knowledge, however the product should have never required specialized fitment. My complaints:
The exhaust has signifiant drone and reverberation, it is not fine for daily driving as advertised by Vivid Racing.
Additional cost I incurred for installation, an additional 1.5 hours of shop labor time.

I contacted Dan Mermelstein from Vivid Racing who was very unhelpful and shrugged the issue off, stating I received a discount on the exhaust (apparently discounts mean no customer service) and that the exhaust is modified and no longer his problem. This is their problem as their sales rep stated it fits Gen II cars when in fact it does not. The exhaust was incorectly advertised and therefore certainly Vivid Racings problem.

Further research shows that Vivid Racing and Agency Power are the same company. Under no circumstance should this exhaust have been sold to a 987 Gen II owner when Agency Power had never even tested the product on the vehicle. I am very displeased with the customer service and how the issue has been handled by both companies.

That's the worst customer service ever. They don't reply to emails. They kept me wait for 2 weeks before they finally answer and say that my item is not manufactured anymore.. and another week to get a refund.. through my bank.. since they didn't want to give me a refund... Also, they're scammers, they're still advertising the same part that I bought even if they don't have it, and that they will never have it... Ah.. and I forgot the rip off about the shipping... $90... lol Avoid this jerks.. I don't understand how they're not out of business yet.

I would recommend anyone considering purchasing from Vivid Racing make your decision carefully as they will not provide you acceptable service if you have issues with their products.

I'll be adding my review to Yelp in the next few days....I think the others should as well.... you actually read the yelp reviews their is huge common denominator with all the complaints...Judge for yourself...Also if your ever bored at an airport lounge....A good Google search is "Vivid Racing Complaints"....Also what's Vivid's biggest competitor....I need to wrap up the mods for the S6 and the 997S and would love to give them by business....

Azqureshi, my question was not directed at you but at the Canadian vendor that claimed not having issues and having done 3 projects (yes, 3) with the after mentioned company.
Looks like I just answered my own question, since they did not respond.
