2010 911 S - PDK - Looking for a little more THROTTLE Response..

Hey all-

I have a 2010 911 S, PDK. I love the car. But even in Sport mode, which I always have on, there is a bit of a delay when I push down on the pedal, to when it "comes alive". It feels like the car is asleep for about 1-2 seconds from 0 rpms. Really a lag is what I mean. The only mod I have is the Sharkwerks sport exhaust.

I'm wondering what would make it a bit more snappy, if anything. OR if the car is just asleep until about 3500 rpms?

I was thinking maybe a tune would increase the responsiveness a bit, maybe the IPD plenum, or both?

I also wonder if my car didn't get a PDK update from dealer. And to those that got one, what difference did you notice?

Thx!

Thoughts?

I have an 09 4s the response feel pretty smooth in sport plus mode. I don't have aftermarket exhaust. From my past experience w/ aftermarket exhaust it take away low end power.

HP gains seems minimal though.. In what noticeable way would you say this helps?

More low end torque and the area under the curve is increased. Peak numbers aren't always the important ones...

It's actually quite noticeable... I drove mine daily so I would know It's across the power band and some of the dips are smoothed out also. The throttle response is night and day... it's like going back to a cable vs this e-gas stuff. I do see some other companies claim to get 30-40hp from software on a naturally aspirated car but
