997.2 gts vs 991 c4s?

997.2 gts vs 991 c4s?
Thinking of trading my 2011 997 c4s for a gts.
Biggest motivation is that I want a convertible, and the gts is (imho) a nice send off to the 997 NA line.
So a little step up while I save my pennies for my real dream - the turbo s.
My question is whether I'm making a poor decision regarding sport car performance- unlike most of the converts, I still am not convinced that the 991 deserves to inherit the carrera mantle. In fact, to me it is a 2 door panamera.
Is the difference between c4s and gts worth the added cost?

Read some of the reviews online. I believe several of the articles said the GTS vert didn't feel like much of an upgrade while the GTS coupe felt more of an upgrade over the C2S. I guess you have to test it out and see if you can tell the difference unless you just want to have a GTS.
