has anyone ever done this?

20" rims with the higher sidewalls, .../35 fronts and /30 rears...is there room for these tires, more so the fronts than the rears, i have found beautiful 991 20" rims but would like to avoid the thinner sidewalls if possible, TIA,KK

Just from looking at my setup, it looks like it would fit. (I run 30/25) but you're asking for suspension issues and rubbing issues. I can't answer your question, but I really doubt anyone has really tried this. I would definitely not recommend lowering your car if you're raising your sidewall.

yes, i agree with the not lowering thing, and 20's with the higher sidewall will fill out the wheel well as well, maybe an even better look with the added diameter...

and, mbenz, what suspension issues might i experience?, when you look in your front wheel well do you have much clearance by the base of the spring mount, at the top of the tire?
