I LOVE the Turbo Tail/decklid. It is a MOD That I'm seriously considering for myself. Where did you obtain the parts?

 

Here on the forum. There is another FS now for 800.00 I got gouged 1400.

Why does someone with a screen name of "Darthvader" have a white car??? Shouldn't it be black?

Does the turbo wing just bolt directly on? What work is needed to install it? Also, I've never seen the Porsche emblem under the hood. Can you tell me more about it

personally, i was thinking Storm Trooper..

 

The lid is a bolt on. If i were to do it over again I would have bought a low profile fan thus eliminating the need to move it. The center plate was added to cover the old fan opening. I also disabled the wing controls in the PCM and went with a fixed wing. Very little has to be done if you buy the low profile fan.

 

Now that's funny.

 

Does anyone know if the 996 turbo decklid is the same as the 997? The decklid in the FS forum is a 996 but they look pretty similar? I can't seem to find any threads on 996 turbo lids on 997.

Those are my favorite wings. They just look right on 997's.
