997 convertible question
Hey guys I had a quick question regarding the 997. Is there a performance difference between the coupe and the convertible? Also, does the convertible feel heavier than the coupe? I am hopefully going to be in the market for one here in a year or so and was just wondering the difference! Thanks in advance!

Carmel is infamous around these parts
Never drove the 997 coupe, but the Cab is plenty quick. I just sold my Carrera GT and that's my comparison.

a 0.1-0.2 sec difference in 0-60mph. cab weighs about 80-100 lbs more I think. Porscheusa.com has exact comparison numbers

I agree. From what I remember reading, the cab does weigh more, and thus the coupe is a bit faster. Now the Carrera GT is a different story.......
