Need some advice, came across a 2009 C4 non s. All options Asking 57,000 CPO. Would have liked a S, but the color combination is what I want.

Would like to get some feedback from the board

Peter

Hard to give advice on price without more info about mileage and options. However, general rule of thumb - YOU are the only one that needs to be happy with the purchase here. Not us. S? Non S? Turbo? 2? 4? It's really your call. I love my non S. Sure the extra HP would be nice - but I balanced all of the different considerations - mileage, color, options, insurance premiums, etc. and I have no regrets that I didn't buy an S.

Hold out and get want you want. I've known too many people that *wish* they would have gotten this over than and either take a big hit or in their minds are *stuck* for the next few years...

Thanks for the reply..car has full supple leather,Nav Bluetooth,Sat radio,19" wheels with 5mm spacers and comfort seats. Came out of a 997.1 c2S..that is the only reason I question going into a non S.

Thanks
Peter

just based on that its probably a fair price, id expect it to be in the low 60's high 50's CPO with under 20k miles.

you need to drive and decide if its what you want

Mine is non-s. Found S .1 and non-s .2 and much preferred the .2 non-s at the time I bought. Felt same speed-wise. No regrets. Other than now being totally hooked on porsche and know that's going to be an expensive addiction.

Look at the porsche site car configurator, now the new 991 has changed, but as you can see there a re dozens of options as there was with 997s. So make sure you are going to get what you want. All options, looks like very few options. The car may not be as desirable and a good deal as you first think.

Stop thinking. Get an S. Sounds like you would be "settling" if you decide to go with this C4. Keep searching. Better to search for an S now than later you would be calculating how much you would lose if you upgrade to an S. Save yourself the trouble.
Been there before. It's the right decision. But the final decision is still yours.

C "4", Long Beach, does not compute, unless you trek regularly to ski resorts throughout the winter. Why pay more for something you don't need? (assuming you won't drive in snow or mainly wet roads--remember, AWD only makes a difference under power)

c4

I use my car all year around..and like the security of awd. Have always owned either Audi's or awd MB. Got the build sheet for the car, which also included full leather power and heated seats embossed headrests, as well as upgraded bose .
Dealer also dropped the price to 55,000

Thanks for the feedback

Not a bad price for a cpo car. Honestly, I'm not sure how much more appreciable power my S has then the non S. It really comes down to how you drive a 911. Let's be 100% honest...the 911 engine is not a torque monster. The car doesn't really wake up until 4k rpm's...after that it's pure unadulterated bliss. So, get the 911 that best fits your price structure and as we use to say in dirt bike racing...."keep it on the pipe"
