Great post. After picking them up, I had to drive 250 miles. I have both the standard belts and the harness. I removed the harness on the drives-side for the drive. The first twenty minutes were a little awkward. After 20 minutes, I forgot that I was in different seats. The seats mount lower to the ground but because there is no recline adjustment, I am actually sitting an inch taller.

Those seats are at the top of my Porsche upgrade wish list. Best of luck with them. Can you point me to the site where you purchased the harness bar? And, do you plan to purchase a roll bar? Who do you suggest for a bar for a 997 cab?
Thanks,
V

I also just got some GT2 seats, GMG harness bars and 6 pt schroth belts. Have changed out the full leather for alcantara inserts made in Chicago area shop. Just pushed the sub-belt under the bottom front cushion for the off season.

Do you have the contact info for the inserts as well as did you keep the leather as well?
