First Service

Just wondering what you guys were charged for your first service since new (almost have 6k miles now). I need to bring it in for the first one and I'd like to get an idea from you guys what to expect. Thanks in advance.

What to expect depends on your dealership. Prices vary for the same work at different dealerships. Call yours and ask them what to expect.

The whole point of the thread was to hear some figures from others so I have something to compare with the quote I get from my dealer. Not sure how calling my dealer helps me get an idea of what others have paid.

I have heard $500 plus just for oil and drain clearing and some other "looking around at things"
If you can do oil change and make sure the drains are clear you can save alot... There are DIY oil changes, brake fluid flushes, drain clearing all on this site. If you are not inclined to DIY then you should shop around. To me it seems that the dealers think because you bought a high dollar car you will just drop it off and pay whatever they want. With 6K miles it shouldn t need much if anything.

First service is normally just an oil change plus inspections at the dealer. If they don't replace anything, it's about $280 at my dealer, a bit cheaper if they are running a special. You will find wide variations in this price, high and low, depending on the dealership
