Startac is infamous around these parts
Well, installed the '05 *** seats into the '09 C4S. Driver seat will not power up. Have 12 dc on the supply plug but no mate contact on the seat to power up the seat. Is their an adapter or something? The pax seat powers up but has pig tail cord coming from power supply. It plugged into the seat sensor but the *** does not have a sensor for it to plug in. Are their adapters, splicing, . . . ? Thanks

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think there is an easy way around your problem. The Air Bag light on is the result of the 05 seats not having a weight sensor for the air bag deactivation on the passenger side for the Child seats. Thus you have that extra plug. 09-11 have weight sensors for the airbag. A dealership may be able to help you out. But labor won't be cheap. Especially if they sense that you're stuck. Good luck.
Your problem with the driver's side power is due to the contact points are different between Adaptive Sport Seats and regular seats/sport seats. Adaptive seats have driver memory settings so the contact points are different.

For the PAX seat I'm thinking I can get the child seat switch with plug and "fix" the pax side. As for the drivers side maybe some connector kit,ie jumper wire ?

As long as you can figure out to connect the power and airbags, you're good. Sounds like a good plan. Good luck. Hope it works.

Still need to turn off the passenger seat occupancy sensor though. It'll need PIWIS.
