Seat exchange

Need some help. I have purchased an '09 C4S with those Porsche GT3 carbon fiber seats. Nice and beautiful seats, however, unable to recline. Have found some '05 C2S Porsche Sport Adaptive seats (multi electric adjustable) that I would like to purchase. The questions: will the Sport Adaptive seats fit, and must importantly will I be able to use the power supply on the C4S to fully power the C2S Sport Adaptive seats. Each seat uses an airbag, so the power supply will at least power the airbag, but will it also power the seat adjustments? Is their a multi-pin plug to make this happen, and can I splice into a 12v wire to make this happen, that is, if the power supply will not support the multi-adjustable seat? Thanks,

I believe the answer is yes, all the hardware should be there or readily available.

So, doc, the GT3 seats, are not adjustable exept for a manual slider. It only, I guess, has a plug for the air bag. You believe the power supply on the C4S should completely power the multi-function electric adaptive seat? Is that a diagnosis from a good doc? Thanks,

I just looked inside the power supply loom, and it has at least 8-9 wires to the plug. The seat on the other hand has only two wires from the plug connection to the seat. It has to work. Thank you all. This forum is great. If anyone has any other info, please post. Also, what is the cost of new power adaptive sport seats? Thanks,

Well, I received the seats, and they look great. Thanks Pete. However, the driver seat will not power up at all. The power supply plug plugs-in just fine to the '05 driver seat, however, nothing. I have checked fuses and everything. As for the passenger seat, the power supply has TWO plugs. One plug pig-tails off the main power supply. I plug the main plug, as it only has one plug on the '05 seat, and powers the seat. However, I now have a pig-tail plug for nowhere it to go. And now have a, "passenger aifbag off" light illuminated on the consule. I think that is where the second plug is supposed to plug into some seat sensor. But the passenger '05 seat does not have a second plug. Any help, suggestions,. . . ? Thanks,
