Yes, still have the 997, not letting that go for a long time. Hard to get bored of a 500 plus hp 911. I just need my roadster fix, been w/o one since the end of March.
So here we go....this was my first car bought & served my well throughout University..
Then needed something more "Professional"..But again got bored really fast!
Then like most “Car” guys..they eventually make the move from Japanese to German…So I got this (Engine blew at 30000kms due to Carbon build up) Done with Audi for life..
Also added S2000 as a weekend / Track toy! (Didnt even track it that much)
As the career took off..decided to go get rid of both Audi & S2000 and got the C63 ..Best of both worlds. (I miss this car the most)..One of them I definitely regret selling.
Then Picked up one of these for Wifey
Traded the C350 for E350..
I hated driving that Boat of a car E350 so traded with this winter beater!
Got this Beast
Then Finally decided to more over to the Dark side!
Since there’s no room for things…so traded the Benz for this Benz (Serving well as a family hauler)
It's one hell of a torque monster..alot of low end torque which makes its a horrible motorcycle for our Toronto roads. You need a real nice long open stretch to enjoy it. But I found it smoother than my Duc.
My first ride. Crisp, direct steering, it had as much power as I could muster, I loved the open-air coupe feeling and the rear tires frequently broke traction and I was constantly drifting before drifting became a sport!
My other ride is a little Chevy S-10 pickup truck. Bought it brand new back in 2003 and still running like a champ. Currently has about 95,000 miles on it. Cheap to own and easy to maintain.
