40K Service Replace Spark-plugs?

Just took my 2007 C2 in for it's 40K Service and the dealer recommended that I get the Spark-plugs replaced. They said they usually replace them at 60K or 4 years....Just wondering when others on the Forum got theirs replaced.........

Were they ever replaced? The dealer replaced mine on my RS 3.6 when I did my "major" at 24K.

Took my 2007 S in for the 40k service, they did not change them and said nothing to me about them. The manual say's 60k, why bother. Don't do it.

Probably could have waited till she hit 60k but I just got her back and she's driving even smoother. Though it could be my imagination from the sticker shock.....

I was Very surprised by service intervals recommended by Porsche. I toured the factory in Stuttgart this summer and know why. They produce a fantastic automobile and do extensive testing! I went 15k miles between oil changes and had a hard time doin that!

I did my spark plugs and ignition coils at 5 years, 34k miles (recommended by the dealer). Apparently, the ignition coil rubber boots were starting to crack - common problem from what I understand.
