Replacing tires...
Need help... Looking to replace the Pirelli's on my 2008 C2S. I was thinking maybe Michellin Pilot Sport or maybe Bridgestones since most seemed to have liked them.. I had luck with Bridgestones several years ago witn a Boxster S, but not sure what I should do for the CS2. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
I recommend the Michellin Pilot Super Sport, check out the link below....we were discussing these tires.....

I run both Michelin Pilot Super Sports and Bridgestone S-02 (not S-02A) They are great on the street, they've been great on the track. Quiet and superb traction. Likewise, the Super Sports are top drawer.
I was running the Bridgestone REA050A (?) and I was happy with them. But, I went with the Michellin Pilot Super Sports this time and love them. They seem to manage the rough roads a little smoother and quieter and then there's the grip. They also were a little cheaper and supposedly wear better. Now, so far the new formula isn't Porsche approved but its what my dealer as well as many knowledgable friends suggested I go with.

I know Michelin Super Sports are the craze, don't discount Bridgestone RE11's.
My GT3 came with them, and for a street tire they are excellent, way better then PS2's and in a totally different class then the crappy PZero's that way too many C2S's come with.

Not a bad looking tire......Is that what you're running now?
Yes, on the street and on the track when there is rain. On a dry track it is Michelin N1 slicks or Hoosier R6's.

I find that they are great in the rain...and we get more then our fair share in Vancouver. I DD my car most days, except if there is ice, snow or salt on the road.
I had RE11 on my M3 and they didn't perform as well as the PS2s in the rain. Maybe it's user dependent. I'm not that skilled of a driver.
