I've got the Borla catback last june and I'm very happy with it. It is a deeper sound than the stock, especially after the engine gets to the operating temperature.

when you guys mod the exhaust: is it as simple as, remove old and install new? what other little 'things' need to be done in addition? much else?
can one simply order the 'kit' and it comes with everything you need?

Lots of choices: tubi, borla, cargraphic!!! yipes!
thanx from a noob!

any one of the exhaust mods is as simple as 'take off and install new' - doesn't matter if it's mufflers, cats or headers. everything simply unbolts and you can swap any piece out without the removal of other pieces. mufflers are the most cumbersome (w/o removal of the rear bumper), imo, but they're all super easy. you'll want to look into new gaskets for the related piece you're swapping out, but that's about it. you'll be better off if you have a couple swivels and extensions for your socket wrench.

Heard a Borla muffler on a cayman. It was the best sound that I have heard cuz it was deep and throaty. Not high pitched.

I really like my Fabspeed. The only other exhaust that gets me excited is the new Innotech.

I love my Cargraphic (quieter version) with flaps mufflers on my 4S. I paired it up with the gas collision pipe + center exhaust conversion and it sounds reasonably aggressive. Since it's a flat 6, I don't feel the urge to make it sound "deep and throaty" like a V8. It should scream like it is built.

It's never going to sound like a long stroke V-8, but a little depth and volume is a must if you're like me and want to hear the motor. I concur ... it's a blend of rumble and scream!

Why? Truly there's nothing special about Borla. They would be way down my list.

Thumbs up Cargraphic sport

they sound amazing on my 997S! No drone in the car but put your foot in it and it's music to your ears

Cargraphic sport is awesome. No inter drone at all. I just installed them on my 2007 997S.

Ok, Cargraphic it is. I have to get plugs and coils done first, then I'll spring for the mufflers.

Thanks all!

Pete

Pete, I should have a CG Sport coming off of my car real soon. Part no. CARP97ETS, as well as NHP 200 cell cats. PM if you're interested.
