Soooo, I finally got my first 911, 997.2S, although it's still on its way to my home, hopefully should be driving the early of next week.

but while I'm waiting for it, I'm already thinking of some mods I wanna do, clear side marker lights and also I'm considering doing a GTS conversion, front bumper and side skirts, was wondering if anybody has done this on a 997.2 S (not 4s), and if they wouldn't mind sharing some pics and info such as best place to get parts/ any good shops here in Orange County, CA and an estimated how much should this conversion cost.

It's easy to the front bumper conversion. Suncoast Parts offers a full front bumper conversion. The side skirts are plug and play as well (if you're going to leave them matte black).

 

since your car is nb and the gts is wb, the side skirts won't fit.

 

Right, didn't see the .2S part initially. Yeah, unfortunately, the side skirts won't fit since they're made for a WB 997

The nose shouldn't be an issue.

 

Front bumper is easy, it's a direct plug and play since it's the same the as aerokit bumper. You can get it from Suncoast for a great price:

The aerokit bumper has a slightly more aggressive front lip and is more expensive:

i love the speedster front lip spoiler. i wonder if it fits the aerokit as well?

 

According to Suncoast, yes

 

The front lip fits perfectly (speedster, aero, GT3) to a 997.2 Aero bumper. The bumper is the same for all 3. If you're in Socal, call Chris Sterling. He did my conversion. Man is a wizard.

 

They all looks so similar. I was out tonight and I saw C2s and a GTS parked next to each other. Both white.... they looked almost the same... except the front bumper on the GTS just looked slightly more agressive. Took me a minute to realize it was a GTS.
