Steering Wheel Recommendations
DCTMS. I got one for my 997.2 6 months ago, and it's fantastic. Very high quality. It doesn't matter where they are made, it's about who makes them. You can find top notch stuff from Taiwan and crap from Germany. Averages and reputation of the geographic area are meaningless when you look at an individual producer. They use actual Porsche steering wheel cores, and just do their own materials wrapping. The price is very attractive partly because they swap out your steering wheel core.
+1. I am impressed with the quality and attention to details that DCTMS has for the wheel. I would say that it's better than the stock OEM wheel that came with the car, which was made in Germany
. It's truly about the people that makes them, as you said.DCTMS. I got one for my 997.2 6 months ago, and it's fantastic. Very high quality. Best in hand to me is the stock base carrera wheel. When I bought my car I immediately wanted to upgrade because it looked so basic and boring. That said after trying several wheels, it's was clearly the perfect wheel to drive with.
OEM GT3RS steering wheel for $650, no relationship to the seller, just thought it's a great deal.
