Cheap iPod MOST input

Anyone seen this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Most-AUX-IN-...e31388&vxp=mtr

At $165 shipped it seems like a great deal for direct ipod hook up as long as it works.

it mention that CD charger need to be removed. so I assume it has to be installed where the CD charger is design to be, in the trunk. right?

Seems like it would install just like the dension but you wouldn't be able to control the ipod. You could just run a long cable into the cabin.

Anyone tried this yet? For this price, I don't care being able to control the IPHONE from the head unit.

I actually like controlling the iphone. I just want to be able to listen to it with cd quality sound without breaking the bank.

This device is a multi input AUX in. i.e. it supports up to 4 analog audio sources. No USB, no ipad or ipod. It will just route the audio from your device via the audio jack to the HU. No control of anything except from the device itself.
If you want this, it's one option...

Says PCM 2.1 i have an early launch edition 2005 wonder if this works with mine. PS: People keep talking about controlling the ipod and all this BS, who cares about that, as long as i can get music from my ipod/iphone to the car thats all i want- dont care about Charging + controlling through car itself. If this thing works it would be GREAT!

Sounds like great bang for the buck!

Subscribed... if anyone does grab one let us know how it is... (Denison 500S/BT is still on my list, but low priority)

If you cant control/charge from HU, why not just buy one of the fm transmitters out there, I was using one from belkin for ipod and it worked great.. its a much cheaper option.

FM xmitters aren't as clear. Been there, done that. Heck, I can even tell the difference between an original CD and HQ MOG music.

I have had the dension unit for over a year and have never been able to figure out how to work it. I dont drive the car everyday but the interface menus are rediculusly confusing. Not saying this one will be any better though.

This seems pretty simple you just select aux as if it were a cd in the changer and then control your own iPod. Basically like an fm transmitter with cd quality.
