Targa 4/4S Prices

After multiple Boxsters, I've been looking for a 997.2 Targa 4 manual for about a year. The prices for the '07 to '12 Targas are all over the place. Some of the cars have been available for months at the same price. Other more reasonably priced Targas--not surprisingly-- seem to go quick. The spread in asking prices for the same year and mileage can be $20K. It does take a long time to find the car you want if you're in the market place to buy. Most of the 997.2s I've seen are PDKs--but I'm holding out for a manual. In regard to your car-- advertise widely. The best thing you can do is find the buyer who is looking specifically for a Targa 4/4S. Good luck. Great looking car.

My 07 Targa 4S is nearly identical to yours....mine has 9K miles on it.

I paid $250,000 for mine 6 months ago......

.....in Singapore!

(you North Americans get to buy these great cars so freaking cheap!)

I was just at the dealer yesterday looking at a 991 cab while my targa 4s was getting the oil changed. 10k miles 2010 with PDK, crono the deler offered me $70k which I thought was low.

Personally I'd keep the Targa. Either way they are both good cars. Good luck and hopefully you'll post pics if you get it.
