-1000. I don't mean to start any philosophical arguements, but i disagree. When I take my car for service, it expect it to be serviced for a fee. I don't expect them to drive it for free without my consent. Obviously the dealer had no issues parking the car on the premises for 6 days, but free parking does not equate to free rides.

If you have to leave your car at the dealer for an extended period or even a couple days and you're worried about people AT the dealership taking joyrides, then you're going to the wrong dealership. period.

It appears there are only two authorized dealers in Singapore:

No. 29 Leng Kee Road Singapore 159099.
6472 4433
marketing@porsche.com.sg.

and

12 Sungei Kadut Ave
Singapore 729 648
+65 6363 0911

OP - where did you have your car serviced?

I know that your car "should" be fine....but let's face it these dealerships still have employees who are transitional, low-wage, gophers. If the car is there and they need to move it it is tempting (apparently) to go for a spin. That's just reality. The best way to insure against that is to not leave your car there for an extended time if it is otherwise fine.

That blows!!!

I know it's little consolation, but on the bright side you own a 911 in Singapore. That's awesome!

Yep - must be some good reason. Porsche's are 'really' peppy here when the highway speed limit is 90 km/h.

I am not sure I would bring mine here even if I could.

However, they are pretty $$ here so there are congrats in that area for sure.

Price list in Singapore $ attached (1 USD = 1.23 SGD), and to that add COE (permission to license car) of S$93,501.

Had my "coming to jesus" meeting with the dealer service director today. The usual outcome of profuse apologies and damage mitigation. They're taking my car back next week to fix all issues, painting all rims and replacing the amp at no charge. Still really no satisfactory response on the extra miles, but some admission of poor systems and security. Suppose I cant expect much more. Get a loan 991 for a few days which will no doubt tempt me!
