Mobil 1 real or fake?
Did i get a fake batch of mobil 1 oil? Opened the quart bottles and the was no seal besides the plastic bottle cap with lock? Is this normal? Shouldnt the bottles have an aluminum seal besides the plastic cap?

Mobil 1 quart bottles don't have a seal under the cap. You just unscrew the cap and pour it.

That doesn't seem right, I think you oil has been tampered with. Check your car to see if it is still breathing!!!

Well ots confirmed then no foil cap for the mobil. Kinda odd though every other major brand seems to have it.

I know the 4 and 5 quart bottles have the foil seal....

I can t remember the quart bottles????

The quarts definitely don't have foil seals. Just the little plastic ring that snaps off when you open it.

I've heard that all the mortgage scammers and other white collar criminals are now marketing fake Mobil1. Everyone better switch to Castrol!

I just bought a case of aftermarket foil seals on eBay. Supposed to gain at least 10 HP.
