70 deg today!
Come on man - with a post like this people will think the weather is awful - "all the rain/cold" ?? Tell that to the folks in the Midwest and East

I like the classic wheels. I thought they were boring at first... but they grew on me. Especially after washing them a few times. super easy.

The Carrera Classics are by order and are the lightest set. The lobster claws are the standard. I know because mine came with classics, easy to clean. But since my heart was set on the 10 spoke sport wheels, found an oem set, had the custom finished. After getting them mounted, I noticed a degradation in acceleration. I call the shop and they confirmed these are heavier wheels...so increasing unsprung weight no bueno! But love the look of them, guess I'm vain

porsche rims

I have a set of the exact wheels you want. I believe they are called sport design, looks exactly like your picture. Took them off this week and getting ready to ebay them.
they came off my personal 06 C4, excellent shape, no dings, curb rash etc.
19" front offset 57 rear offset 51, im close to sacramento. I have the correct center caps too, included. bob

I had the sportdesign.
Got bored quite soon (beside the pain to keep then clean) and I made them black.
Worst choice I could do I then sold them and bought the carrera sport that I love.

Before (nothing special)

Black (best pic)

After (worst pic)

I don't get this Armor All routine - what exactly do you do? And what does it do? Never heard of this before - is it safe for the OEM wheel finish?

No, the Carrera Classics are optional wheels and must be ordered. The Carrera Classics were actually inspired by the wheels from the Carrera GT supercar.

The standard 997.1 wheels are the 19" Carrera S (lobster claws) wheels and the 18" Carrera wheels. The latter wheels look similar to the the Carrera Classics, but are even more basic and angular in design.

It's safe, but I've tried it and don't like it. While it does keep the wheels cleaner, it leaves the surface with a slightly cloudy look and the surface has a filmy feel to it. And you need to keep applying the stuff about every month.

I prefer the gloss smooth feel and look of a well waxed rim. I use Rejex instead and the Carrera Classics are so easy to clean.

I know others like the Armor All Product, I guess it's the lesser of evils if you've got complex multi-spoke wheels to clean up.

Be aware that if you have a C2/C2S the ET (offset) of your rear wheels will be different from the C4/C4S. The C4/C4S rear wheels will stick out (not sure if it's the correct english word) from your wheel-arches.

I love those wheels. Those are the 19" Carrera Sport Wheels. And those came with the 305's on the rear even on the narrow bodied cars.
