These are fabulous numbers; please let us in on your secret(s).

My experience has been more or less 9-13 city until about 50K miles. Thereafter somewhere between 13-16 mpg in regular mode. Pure highway, I could get 300 miles but am too chicken to verify that.

These numbers, yours as well as mine lend me to believe that these engines are not fully broken in until 50k miles when one can experience their true range.

I get to 187 miles and the orange light comes on. The dash meter is not very accurate as it will say 57 miles left and then I go 5 miles and it says I have 30 miles left.

On sole highway i get 330ish. Drove to S. Cal and did better fuel economy than my daily 335i.

2009 911 C2 PDK; 74,780 miles on the clock, oil changed every 6k (currently running Motul 5w40).

I do a lot of mixed city/highway driving, a/c is usually off in the late Winter to Spring months and I generally fill up before I get to the orange light (average is at 14 gallons). That said, miles on the tripometer is typically around 320 - 330 miles when I fill up; MPG, which is the figure I pay more attention to is 21.2 - 23.7 miles per gallon. Kinda depends how hard I've been driving the car.

Summer usually tends to see a little bit of a drop off in MPG; I attribute to running a/c more frequently, higher outside temps and nicer weather = more spirited driving with warm, dry roads.

2007 C2S, I usually don't go beyond 250 miles before fill up's, but have a little less than a quarter tank at that point. I don't like to drive it to empty. I did drive the car for 1800 miles straight and would get just over 300 miles between fill up's. I think 330 miles was my best on a tank.

2009 C2S PDK/SC with 86,000 kms (53,500 miles) I get about 13L/100kms (18MPG) with my 30km commute (each direction), which is about 60% highway/40% city. This is according to the gauge, which I've calculated to be surprisingly accurate.

I tend to rev the car up and drive fairly aggressively in the last 1/4-1/3 of each drive, when I come off the highway and the car is fully warmed up. I typically top the car up any time it drops below 1/2 tank.

What amazes me is the drastic difference between city and highway mpg on this car. Almost every other car I’ve owned the difference was maybe 2-4mpg, but on the 997.2 c2 6spd it’s 4-8mpg. Obviously it’s all based on driving, so somewhat hard to validate this without looking at other driving data.

But generally 19-21 around town, and 25-27 on highway.
