997.1 Coilover question

I am planning to install a set of coilovers on my 2008 Carrera. Car does not have PASM. So far I found the following 3 products from Tire Rack:

H&R Street-Perf. Coil-Over $2,290.00
http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...Clar=Coupe&cat=

Bilstein PSS9 Coil-Over Kit $2,664.00
http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...+Coil-Over+Kit

KW Variant 3 Coil-Over $3,200.00
http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...nt+3+Coil-Over

Even though Tire Rack have these products, they do not have the spring rates information neither the actual pictures of the products. Anyone know the specifics of these products and any experience with each one of these?

I don't race this car but I like very firm, solid ride and like to lower it about an inch.

Any additional information and experience for the above coilover sets would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I bought my set of H&R Coilovers from TireRack and love them on the car. The ride is not harsh, but "very firm, solid ride", and handling is improved over stock.

My prior experience with coil overs were on my E46 M3 and I used KWv2. Although the H&R setup does not provide rebound adjustment, it's fairly comparable in terms of the factory settings.

I got the Bilstein PSS9's added to my '06 C4 (not S). I had the work done by TPC Racing in Maryland at the same time they added stronger sway bars and toe links.

I've been very happy with the choice. To your point, it became much more planted and lowered the car by about an inch. Prior to that I thought the car was a little slopppy compared to a 2000 BMW 3 series coupe that I had modified.

I believe there's also a newer Bilstein PSS10 option for non-PASM cars if you want to see how those compare to the other 3 you've already found. The Bilsteins for PASM cars are called Damptronics or B16s.
