Piwis procedure for making alarm chirp when locking

Im sure i read somewhere here in our forum that we can code the computer to chirp or sound when arming the alarm. It was using a durametric. I dont have access to a durametric but have access to a piwis. However, after playing around with coding i could not find the roght settings. Can anybody share how its done with the piwis?
We are not after suggestions like, keep glove box open or whatever open to make it chirp. That is not the solution we are after.

Depending on your model year, it will not chirp without adding an aftermarket upgrade. On my 2011, 997.2 CAB, I was able to add the chirp when I installed SMARTTOP, before this there was no factory chirp option.

windboat, how can you tell between an ajar-door/hood/glove-chirp vs alarm-set-chirp? Do they sound very different?

Thanks.

Good question, I never noticed this before so I just went out and tested it

Lock with doors fully closed - 2 chirps

Door ajar - 1 chirp

Unlock- 1 chirp

All chirps are same sound

Hi there. With a smart top, can you reverse the alarm? 1 Chirp locked and 2 chirps unlock?

With only 1 chirp on lock you wouldn't know if a fault condition existed (hood open, etc.)
