Personal Mods Complete

Finished with a few personal mods on the To Do List;

Zunsport Grills
LED Side Markers
Suncoast Pedal Set
GTS Style Door Sticker

Should have done the grills much earlier. So much debris in the radiator area....unreal. Surprised Porsche doesn't protect radiators from factory.

Decided to have the door sticker match my rear emblem and the Red "S" goes with the calipers. Pedals feel much better than stock. LED's came out better than I thought they would. Look great at dusk and night.

Did you remove the bumper to install the grill?

Nope. Did it with it on. The center and upper grills have small inserts that you drill a hole in the bumper to hold the one side and the other side has a clip for you snap into place. The center and upper grills have screws that go directly into the number and are self tightening.

Once you get over putting the holes in its all good. When the grills are in place you cannot tell at all how they are attached. I planned on doing more close ups...ran out of time today.

I used a template from Suncoast for the Carrera 4S and had them copy the script and duplicate it. Had the "S" done in Red. Goes on the same as OEM sticker. I measured out 1-3/4" from door to the letter C and 1-5/8" from the bottom of the door to the bottom of the script.

That should make it as close as possible to OEM placement. Close was good enough for me.

I plan on taking some pictures in the sun to show the grills and decal better. Hopefully today.

Looks good, question; how easy would it be to remove grill for cleaning inside? I assume tiny bugs, leaves, etc should still build up in there.

Getting the grills off and on isn't hard. The only thing that would worry me is if you take the grills off and on too many times, the screw holes may widen over time from the screws going in and out. The bumper is very soft so I used a screwdriver to tighten as to not strip it out.

I may only open up once a year to clean out or when I get oil changed open from the bottom and clean out. That may be the other option.

That looks great. The LED side markers go well with the bar in the front light.

Feel nice. No issues at all. Softer than stock...but biggest thing is my foot doesn't move around like the stock ones. Larger accelerator is nice to have as well. Only size 8 foot, so Heal/Toe is a bit easier now. Still need practice!

The pedal you have to worry about the most is the Brake. It's the only metal one of the bunch. I used #8 x 3/4" countersunk stainless steel screws to mount them. The screws that come with the pedals suck. There is no room to run the screws behind the brake or clutch pedal and try and put a washer and nut on the end of the screw. Pedal and dummy pedal are way easy to do. Just line up the brake and clutch pedal...measure twice...drill once.

Thx!
I checked Suncoast's site but didn't see any in red. Was hoping to match the red belts.
+1 for more pics.
