Tail of the Dragon Pictures

Thought I would share some pictures of my recent trip to the tail of the dragon and surrounding areas. I'm happy to report that the roads were almost empty this time of year, especially if you get an early start. http://imgur.com/a/hzQW6

Wow, I can't believe how empty it is! When I was there in '07 it looked like any freeway here in L.A. - easily over 1,000 bikes.

How many times did you drive it? (And are those killboy pictures?)

I stayed in Tapoco Lodge which is right on 129 so I was able to get an early start each day. I would say I ran it about 4 times in each direction. I really recommend this loop https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=T...=13&via=2&z=11 if you go back. These pictures were bought from us129photos, but in the past Killboys got great shots of my cayman can't recommend him enough.

Will be on the Dragon next Thursday and Friday, looking forward to the pre-season mid-week run. We are staying at Blackberry Farm in Walland, TN.

Had a great time on Thursday, Friday and Saturday on The Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, NC Hwy 28 and Moonshiner's. Weather was perfect on Thursday and Friday, rain on Saturday but still great driving. Ran the Dragon four times.
