Trunk won't opon!!

I have had this nagging problem for the last 6 months or so, once in a while my trunk does not open ( happened 3-4 times). After I drive it for 30 minutes it works again. However, this time I have something important in the trunk to get to and its not working. Went online did a search and opened the wheel well panels behind the passenger headlight searched for the manual cable release and did not find it !! Any help would be appreciated.
By the way, the car has 102,450 miles on it so I consider myself lucky!

Hood latch electric solenoid not working? Both interior switch and remote switch not working? Answer these questions and your problem should be easy to diagnose and fix.

Thanks! I thought it might be the solenoid. As far a reliability, I am very happy, its the only problem besides a waterpump that had to be replaced which is normal with his many miles.
