My brake pads are getting low. Dealer said it's just starting to touch the sensor.

Do you guys always replace the rotors too? or do you just check thickness of the rotors and just run another set of pads on the same rotors?

I've love to just replace everything.. but I don't want to replace stuff it's just not needed.

It really depends on how they look and if there is any uneven wear and the thickness but it's recommended that you switch out both just to be safe. We do offer brake service kits, for more information Click Here.

If you are doing the job yourself take the rotors off and have a local shop turn them. Most shops will do this for pretty cheap and the rotors will be brand new albeit a little thinner.

Measure them with a caliper first. If they are not within spec then get new ones.

It's showing on the rotor, are you able to see the minimum thickness through wheel?

Can't turn or properly turn cross drilled or even slotted rotors.
