Dealer Loves 40/44 PSI

Just had my car in for an oil change...sure enough it came back with the tires filled up to 40/44 I wonder why they make it so high and above what it says in the manual?

I typically keep it at 34/38.

It depends on wheel size, but 40/44 sounds high still.

I run 37/41 on 20"s.

Yep...but from what I've read on this board it seems like 34/39 is the sweet spot.

Running 19's

Question

37/44 is what is recommended for a C2S. I don't run anything but I have 19" wheels with 295 rears.

I've noticed that on my PSS's. What is the typical outside temp when you set to 34/37?

68 degrees amb temp and 0 ft elevation.

There's a chart floating around in an older post that
Displays adjustments for amb temp and elevation.
I'll see if I can dig it up.

First, I'd ask the dealer........my best guess is that either his gauge or yours is off.
