I need your expertise please.

I purchased an 09 Carrera S a few months back and and now have a problem with my passenger side tail light. The other day, a light came on saying that it was out. That notification came and went for a few days but could not actually notice anything. The notification no longer appears but it appears as though the light is out but the brake light/indicator still work. I also notice a lot of condensation in the light.

Do you know if I need to replace it altogether or if I can change the bulb?

I dont think you can change a bulb. I think your car comes with LED tail lights. Maybe it could still be under warrenty? Idk im sure someone else will know better.

 

Correct on the first two. Is the car still under warranty? That would be your best bet.

Unfortunately the warranty has just lapsed. I need to get an extended one...

 

Had the same issue with my 09 997.2 right tail light. After washing would notice condensation. Fortunately is was replaced under warranty. Tech told me tail light had a crack at seam.

 

Had a look last night and I think the clear lense is separating from the red one at the seam...

Anybody have a passenger one that they want to send my way
