Some one also died in a crash . I did not get the name of the driver. Thought it was a Ferrari driver?

Hey, the new 991 in the race is the 911 RSR (see http://www.topspeed.com/cars/porsche.../pictures.html for some great photos)...next year will be great bc Porsche will be back in the prototype class taking on Audi R18 head to head. The driver who died was an Aston Martin driver and the favorite in the GTE pro class. His name was Allan Simonsen.

The driver that died was Alan Simonsen. Drove for Aston Martin. RIP

Yes RIP! I had a party for the race, watched the whole thing . In the being it was hard to see that crash.
