OT: Mini McQueen and Porsche 917K

Thought I'd share a little hobby I completed in time for the 2013 Le Mans race.

1/18 scale Steve McQueen (playing Michael Delaney) with his Porsche 917K from the movie Le Mans. The car is by AutoArt. The McQeen figure is hand painted by me.

It was great to see the new Porsche 991 RSR cars take 1-2 in the GT class at Le Mans. Wishing Porsche all the best for an outright win in 2014!

Bet you don't know what those two upraised fingers Steve McQueen gestured in the movie to the French Ferrari driver actually symbolizes!! No fair googling the answer!!

Dates to when the capture archers fingers were severed by the French so they could no longer use a bow. It has now taken on a single finger salute that means the same thing.
