Very pleased with the results. The ride is ok, slightly stiffer than the stock springs. Performance with the exhaust is good, it is too hot here to get consistant dyno readings, but EVO will be testing this fall. The Techart kit is awesome, love the look.

You should get the Cargraphic Carbon fiber side mirrors to match the black rims.

 

looks cool, but am I the only person who thinks this techart kit doesn't integrate with the stock body panels as well as the 996 kit did? It just seems to stick out a little more or something. Maybe its just me.

 

Techarts stuff to me is the best body kit available at this time . I do feel they could do a better job of making where the kit attaches to the car more seamless so it does not have that obvious bolt on look like it does now . does anyone else agree or see what I am talking about . Also your car looks great in this picture !

 

I haven't seen one in person, but some of the kits definetly look bolt on which IMO is unnacceptable. If they don't make it faster or handle better, its not on my list. That includes all aero kits that don't have aerodynamic testing #'s.

 

yes I agree...the side skirts are nice but the front lower lip next to wheels looks off... IMO But I love that speed yellow...

 

I think we're nitpicking here, it looks beautiful. Not my choice of color, but the whole look is great. Loving the wheels!

nitpicking .. ahh yea ... BD 977 ,, I see what you are talking about , I was talking about the big line along the length of where the kit meets the body of the car . This is the problem with not keeping with factory stuff it does not always fit perfect or look exactly right . I like having the car look better that the stock 997 but I wish there was a way for the after-market companies to get all of the details perfect . If you look at Porsches aero kit it fits perfect and is quite seamless but the overall design does not look as good as the Techarts kit , maybe there is a way to tweak it . But again this car looks so much better than a 997 with the factory kit or stock for that matter .... but it could look even better if the details were addressed . Again the car is absolutely beautiful and looks so much better than a stock 997 .

I guess this front end look so seamless becuase it is actually part of the whole bumper ... the more I look at the Porsche areokit front end the more I like it .. it is funny how something can grow on you . Does anyone know if you can just order the front from Porsche without the wing .
