automatic car wash
I would do it myself, takes 10 minutes, may not be a Sunday morning level wash, but your car will look a lot better and you won't be kicking yourself in the buttski.
$5 in quarters, one micro fleece to wash, toss it when done. Hit your glass first, finish at the rear under the plate.
If you or the car wash dings/scratches/abrades your paint, that would be bad, Egon.

Then again, if the car isn't completely filthy, there's always this. Works for me, even on black.
I would not use an automatic carwash unless nothing but water touches the car. On the road, if/when my car gets that dirty I stop at one of those self-wash car washes where you put in your dollar and you spray the car off yourself. That will get the majority of the dirt off until you get home and can a proper job.
Just go to a spray wash, I would wipe down, I'd get on the highway and let the water come off the car. The reason I wouldn't wipe down after a coin op washing is the sprayers don't get all the dirt off the cars and you may just scratch the surface. But if you do The Absorber is a great man made chamois.
