It's good advice, but clearly none of my business

The plate I really wanted was "BAMF" but apparently that combination, along with any variation of it, is banned in CA.

The DMV apparently frowns upon Bay Area Maintenance Facilities.

I was considering going with 911 FTW for awhile but every time I consider it, I recall myself consistently thinking what a d-bag when I see a vanity plate. That said, I might still rock it hah. Of your options, RENNEN gets my vote only because the combination of those letters are visually appealing IMO.

RENNEN is actually pretty sick.... I kind of wish I had it. Like I said, Carrera means race in Spanish so it would make for a good conversation piece.

As far as people saying don't do it... screw that. DO it if that's what you want to do. I got a vanity plate because I LIKE it. Screw what the guy behind you in the shltty Carola thinks.

Actually, the German word for quick or fast is "schnell". It would be beyond to come up behind some doofus who'd ordered a misspelled vanity plate.

Not to mention,,,911 to most people is September 11 and that is not associated with fun.
Walt
Something to ponder. Thanks!

Yes... but SCHNELL is already taken, so it would have to be SCHNEL for me.

Some good insight here.

I am down to three:

M9SPLZG -- My Toy
ACH JA -- Oh Yeah
RENNEN -- Racing

you could go with something that is totally not transparent to anyone but a Porsche enthusiast...for example, 07997. i did something similar on my car just so i wouldn't end up with something ridiculous from the dmv like "1BG ASZ"

I've just ordered "FLAT6FAN"...

That way I can use it on any 911...
