Fun at Mid-Ohio lapping program with dads 997s and my STi !!!

Hey guys (first post here actually, im from rennteam/rennlist)... anyways.

had a great day at the lapping program wiht my dad at the Mid-Ohio track... everyone ran well no one hit anything and it was really fun. I got some decent laps with my STi - estimated best was a 1:51 or so... i didnt time it the instrutor in the RSX-S behind me was timing and its not quite totally accurate because he was like 2 or 3 seconds behind me... it very well could have been lower, it was a 1:51-1:50 when the instructor drove he got a 1:48 or so, but with a few revisions and a few more laps (he got a good 8 laps, but traffic etc makes it hard) he could have gotten a 1:47 or so... anyway it was tons of fun, my dads 997s is super quick... we didnt really get any estimated times with his car but that car is quicker than mine he got about 135mph on the back, i got about 120-125mph (instructor hit about 130mph in my car, but i didnt have the guts to push that hard into the corner)

overall great day, sorry i only got a few pictures

Nice pics and welcome! Looks like u guys had fun out there. How were your brakes on the STi, compared to the 997, any fade creep up on you later in the day on either car? Any comments on handling comparisons for both cars since it looks a bit wet out there

The STi has great brakes, magazines have gotten great distances with them 70-0 if i remeber it was like 157ft. They got a bit faded as the day went on i think, and i believe my pads are shot! (autox before then the track day!) the STi handled beautifully, with the center diff set to split torque 35front/65rear it was quite neutral and didnt understeer. I wish that i got to drive the 997s, my dad and forgot to switch, we will next time for a few laps
