911Dave is infamous around these parts
I had a 2000 Wrangler as a DD for a couple of years. Horrible as a street car unless you happen to be driving through a foot of snow on unplowed roads. It's geared to be a stump puller, it's noisy, I got about 14 mpg, it leaked badly from under the dash every time it was driven in rain, and the ride is jerky and uncomfortable. They're great for 4-wheelin', but as a daily driven street car I found it to be a monumental failure. Get yourself a lightly used BMW 3-series.

thanks crazy! I personally see a Jeep Wrangler along with a 911 is damn near the perfect garage...at least for someone like me that doesn't have an unlimited supply of funds.

Dave, I'm banking on the fact that things have changed dramatically since 2000, I went to the Jeep from an Acura MDX...and I think the Jeep is every bit as comfy and smooth as that vehicle...maybe not quite as quiet...but not far from it. My Jeep being a hardtop does help with the noise factor though.
