How do you service the 2012 997 911 with such a TINY rear truck opening
. I guess they really don't want you to try to do any work yourself?
Do you have to drop the engine every time you want to service the engine...lol?

996 and 997 are pretty easy
991 is NOT. since i service my vehicles myself, I will not get a 991. A porsche that is harder to service than a Ferrari and costs $120k is not for me.
For $120k, buy a F430 or Gallardo. You will be happier

Makes sense
Drive one, then drive a 997.2...huge difference. The "soul" has been taken out of it, sad really...love the looks and interior, hated the steering feel, longer wheelbase, heavy clutch and electronic parking brake.
These statements happen every time an updated model comes along,,, and thats on almost every forum I ve been involved with numerous brands. Think we are just slow to want to change.
BTW, I think when they engineered the 997 s they put down 6 spark plugs and built the car around it, LOL.
