sport classic spoiler lip on a .1

what are the possibilities here, will it fit, can it be made to fit, or, what other lips are available for the .1 front end?

Will it fit? Don't think so, the .1 and .2 have different stock lower lip designs.
Can it be made to fit? Not easily, but if someone has done it, I'd like to know too. I certainly wouldn't mind a sport classic spoiler lip on my car.

As for other lips, there are several, but I'm no expert, as nothing that I've seen so far is to my liking.

me too! there are a couple at FVD but...nah, unfortunately, not for me either, and I don't really want to do the whole front end, lose the integrity of the .1

Believe or not eBay, and talking with the guys selling it out of NY they really do not understand what they have because the picture shows it on a 997.2 but the years are for a 997.1 so I took a $300 chance because I like the Speedster look also and it fits. Here is the link and it says last one left.

Looks great! More pics please!

How does it attach? Is it an easy DIY or did you have a shop install it?

Here' what it says on the listing:

We want all customers to know that there will always be minor sanding, shaving, cutting, and/or filling prior to installing FRP (fiberglass) parts. The primer finish must be sanded and other prep work will be required prior to painting. Fiberglass parts are hand made, they are not machine made and therefore not perfect.

Here are some other pictures, sorry for quality and glare. I was actually checking the fitment straight out of the box with some masking tape and said this seems easy enough and got some double-side 3M tape, 2 screws and installed it in about 30 minutes. I would say on a scale of 1-10 the fitment is a 8.5 compared to factory; see front-end shot left corner mm gap below bumper air duct, happened after some scraping. I took to my body man who said he could make it fit perfect and permanent. However, the only reason I have not let body guy work on it is because if I am going body man route then I am debating about having him put on the red factory GT2 front bumper sitting in my garage (got it before I found the lip and added last pic so you see why I am considering GT2 front). I am waiting until season is over to decide which way to go.

Car is C4 and rear bumper is the Porsche GT2 OEM bumper which fit perfect except for four small additional brackets I got from hardware store to tie lower part of bumper into the car. And, for course I had to take to muffler shop because the tailpipes were off several inches. I don't think it will fit narrow body car, but I believe Wicked makes one that will fit your car..
