super ditto here too. That feeling increases as you start to get more of a feel of what you can do with the car. There is a learning curve to it despite having driven a stick shift for 29 years. I plan on going to a driving school at the Homestead raceway someday to get more instructions.

I just finished in August a 10 day road trip with the wife from Key West through the middle of Florida, up to Tallahassee, to Montgomery/Wetumpka, back down through the rural 331 to Panama City Beach, then along the coast all the way down the west coast of Florida through all the small coastal towns. It was one amazing trip, and the car made it the difference between a chore driving between destination stops, and wanting to keep driving even after reaching the destinations. The ride WAS the vacation! I kept telling my wife I would let her drive and it was my intention to do so, but there was not one boring part of the drive or I would have.

From going to the grocery store or long road trips, I get a smile everytime I get in. It's also my daily driver so I actually look forward to my work commute, very few people have that! From a longevity and health point of view I could see the Porsche is an investment into my overall life. I loved all my old cars, but not like this one, not even close!

My wife was good about not giving me grief in my driving the whole trip, but now she plans on getting one for herself too. I do let her drive it in town when she wants and I'm doing something else. She also gets to use it on girls night out. All she really does then is pick up a friend, go to another house, then all the girls cab it for the evening.
