The biggest dissapointment to me is that they didn't use the intake that was the entire hight of the door, and instead has the 996T type intake. That long intake was my fav. part .

ala 355 or even better is what the previous photos looked like. Hopefully, they are just using body panels from a boxter or 996 for further camo. There is no way they could release that given the current competition in that price range unless it had about 600 and handled like a Noble.

The side intakes are clearly still camo'd. The rest of it seems closer to the 996 than the 997.

Can't imagine many of you 996tt guys stepping up to take the shiit-kicking you'd have to endure to trade up.

Better hope the 998 is more revolution than evolution.

lol... what a dissapointment... now i am really gonna get out of that waiting list... going for the Gallardo for sure next year... besides 450-480hp that just plain sux... i mean if that thing is gonna be about the same price as a Gallardo and F430 and is gonna be just as fast... there is really no point to buy a Porsche 997TT... i'd really rather go for the 997GT3 just love the Aero Kit's look and is gonna be incredable with 400hp RWD pure fun! on daily driving part its gonna be the Gallardo... same relieability much MUCH better looks!!! maybe even better performance who knows... but back to this car... i am truly dissapointed!!! it looks just like a 996TT ... thats enough for me in ONE day!~

I think it looks worse than a 996TT in the picture 2 posts above. Not sure I would trade. I hear you on the Gallardo. Looks like they went back to the 993 and tried to cross a 993TT with a 996TT and came out with a VW Bug on roids.

I'd be suprised if they didn't keep the big intakes down the side. Who knows, car is so taped up it's impossible to truely get a feel for what the final product will be.
